Frozen Dead Guy Days by The Clock Tower

The Clock Tower Collective is taking part in Frozen Dead Guy Days!

On Saturday, we’ll have an outdoor beer tent on the patio. Ska music by Fists Of The Proletariat will be horn-ed up 2:30-4 and 4:30-5pm. And we’ll have our 2nd Annual Frozen-Fix-A-Flat Contest!!!

Dunk your hands in a cooler of ice for 1 minute and see how quickly you can fix a flat tire on a bike wheel. Several rounds will take place between 4 and 5pm. Prizes will be awarded. Free to enter.

On Sunday, the FFAF contest will take place 2-3pm, and the J.W. Schuller Trio will play their grunge folk rock 1:45-3:30pm.

Pam & Dan Rosenthal are traveling the country, skiing at Ikon resorts during the day and playing along the way at night. Having served as ski pros for 40 years, this tour celebrates their mutual love for skiing, music, and each other. This duo features folk and country tunes, with occasional blues, original indie, pop, and classic rock material. As they near their Colorado home in Carbondale, they are sure to share the last three months of road and snow inspired stories with us – and their dedication to spreading climate change awareness with action.

So come off the spring slopes and head here music, drinks, and menu specials. We offer Happy Hour pricing 3-6pm! The music is LIVE 3:30-5:30pm. This is our second to last Saturday in the series

Tap Takeover: Surly Brewing & Ashton Lee

Surly Brewing Company is a Minnesota-based craft brewery, noted for award-winning beers and canning. Salto is proud to be the only establishment that pours Surly pints. All four of our taps will be flowing with Surly beers.

Ashton Lee is a Nashville studio recording artist who came to Denver for the mountains and a more relaxed music scene. His guitar playing and vocals will blow you away. You can find him touring these days with band What About Jim.

Après Ski Saturday w/ Kate Farmer

Raised in Jamestown, Kate Farmer can’t remember a time she wasn’t immersed in music. She grew up listening to her mother’s clear falsetto harmonizing with Nanci Griffith, Alison Krauss and Bonnie Raitt, instilling in her a deep love of strong female voices and heartfelt songwriting. After much encouragement at a young age, her first performance was at 9 years old where she brought several hippies to tears…and she hasn’t stopped since.

Continuing to combine her love of family and community with music, Kate performs as one half of The Farmer Sisters with her sister Sara Jane, and as a member of The Constellation Collective. Writing original songs on her acoustic guitar, her style feels soulful and bluesy with folk and Americana influences. In any genre, her voice alone could make you cry.
